What if my Boardy scooter doesn’t roll as smoothly as expected?
If you notice reduced rolling performance, check tire pressure! The recommended tire pressure for Boardy scooters is 4 bar (58 psi).
If your scooter feels slower than usual, here’s a quick checklist to solve the issue:
1. Check your tire pressure (99.9% of cases!)
The maximum allowed pressure for Continental tires is exactly 4 bar (58 psi); we playfully recommend inflating them just below, at about 3.99 bar, to ensure the ideal performance. 😊
2. Inspect your wheels and axles
Ensure nothing is wrapped around the axle, like grass or debris.
3. Check your brakes
Make sure the brake pads aren’t touching or rubbing against the rim unintentionally.

Most important: Always keep your tire pressure regularly checked at 4 bar!
